Atlanta, Georgia, USA, June 1, 2020 – Polymer Logistics (“Polymer”) is preparing to transition to the Tosca brand name in August 2020. Tosca, a 60 year old leader in reusable packaging and North America’s largest pooler of RPCs, acquired Polymer in late 2019.
Polymer has already transitioned to Tosca in North America as of June 1, but until now the two companies have continued to operate separately in global markets. The global Polymer brand change will mark the official start of doing business as one organization in the United Kingdom, continental Europe and the rest of the world.
Eric Frank, CEO of Tosca stated: “Polymer’s customer-first mindset and history of quality RPCs and supply chain innovations is a perfect fit with Tosca. Brand migration will allow us to offer customers exciting new benefits – including superior financial scalability and stability. As one stronger Tosca organization, we’re bringing customers greater choice in reusable packaging providers – along with the same level of support they’ve grown to expect.”
In general, brand transition will have a very low impact to existing account relationships, ordering, contracts and other operations for global customers. Polymer and Tosca are committed to making this transition seamless for customers and will provide more detail in the coming weeks.
The new, stronger Tosca organization is eager to serve customers as one partner with everything they need.
Tosca is a leading provider of reusable packaging and supply chain solutions across a diverse range of markets including eggs, case-ready meat, poultry, produce, and cheese. Tosca’s proven RPC system is a smarter way to move fresh product safely from source to shelf, substantially reducing shrink and labor cost, maintaining product quality, and optimizing overall supply chain efficiency for retailers, growers, and suppliers.
